Accountant
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting, and ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts and accurately record day-to-day financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, receipts, payment records, and other accounting documents.
Perform regular bank, ledger, and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
Monitor and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Assist in budgeting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis.
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and maintenance of financial records.
Assist with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documents.
Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Support the finance team in other accounting and reporting activities as required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
Proficiency in Tally/ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
